I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, currently serving as Senior Minister to the Unitarian Society of New Haven, CT (unitariansocietynh.org). My first parish was in Winston-Salem, NC, where I served from 1987 until my call to USNH in 1991. I am married and have three children, ages 21, 15 and 13. I am deeply interested in the ways our spiritual lives can inform and strengthen our commitments to social justice and peace.

Hi Kaky!
My mother sent me a link to your blog about Sarah Palin — an interesting comment, and I couldn’t agree with you more.
I spent Saturday down in a small town in Pennsylvania knocking on doors for Obama. It’s a little out of my comfort zone, being a lifelong non-activist, and hardly articulate about political issues, but Palin and McCain are so loathsome that it seems necessary.
We are long-time members of the UU congregation in Binghamton, NY. Our three children (ages 18, 16, and 15) have found a wonderful home there.
I hope you and your family are thriving in New Haven.
Best regards,
Matt
